8. Overthinking
This is possibly the hardest habit to break—but the one that will have the most impact on our lives. It’s an addiction, really. One that toys with our emotions, distorts reality and wastes our time. The solution, as Eckhart Tolle explains, is presence. “Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry—all forms of fear—are caused by too much future, and 
not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms
of nonforgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.”
