Wat Rong Khun is the iconic white temple in Chiang Rai — but it's not actually a real temple. It's an art exhibit made in the 1990s built to look like a temple, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. The white is meant to represents Buddha's purity, mirrored details represent self-reflection, and a bridge stretches over a lake of begging hands, asking for help from below.
