1. Don't Be Picky About Your Destination
Say you really, really, really want to go to Rome this spring, but a quick search on Skyscanner shows that roundtrip tickets are $860. If that's too steep of a price for you but you still want to go travel, be flexible where your destination should be. You can find something much cheaper that way!

For example, on Skyscanner write your end destination to be "Everywhere" and it'll offer you the cheapest tickets for your time frame. Results showed I could go to the Philippines for two weeks for $552, Puerto Rico for $360, and Spain for $563!
