When it comes to the long-awaited Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix, one of the most excitedly anticipated factors is finally getting to find out who Rory and Lorelai end up with.
The excitement is palpable –– and why shouldn't it be? This has been almost 10 years in the making.
But okay, Amy Sherman-Palladino, I get it. When it comes to the four-episode revival, slated for release on November 25th, our reverent focus as fans should not be solely on which of Rory's ex-boyfriends she gets back together with.
I wholeheartedly agree with the show's creator: While the men Rory dated and the relationships she had were an integral part of her character development on the show, they did not define her.
But I'm still going to argue that Rory and Jess Mariano should absolutely and undoubtedly reunite in the revival. It's not all I'm focused on, of course –– I'm very excited to see where Rory's career has taken her, and I'm not diminishing any and all accomplishments the beautiful bookworm has made in the slightest.
I just happen to believe that Rory and Jess are endgame. Period. Here's why:
