If you've noticed some beauties on your Instagram feed wearing smudged lipstick, it's not a strange beauty trend but a social media campaign called #smearforsmear in honor of January being Cervical Health Awareness Month.

The campaign is spearheaded by UK-based Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust, and calls on women to take selfies with smeared lipstick to spread awareness of the importance of smear tests, or cervical screens. Rita Ora nominated Jourdan Dunn, while Georgia May Jagger nominated Cara Delevingne—so you can expect more of these shots to pop up on your feed. Get a closer look at these British beauties' own #smearforsmear snaps.
