UNVEILED: Alber Elbaz's First-Ever Cosmetics Collection for Lancome

A sneaky peek at Alber Elbaz's makeup collection for Lancome (his first-ever beauty range!) is finally here — and, somehow, it's even more delightful than his announcement video let on. (Watch below, ICYMI.)

BEHOLD: the Lanvin Artistic Director's eye-makeup heavy line — we now know exactly what he meant when he told WWD it was his "happy eye project." (Happy eyes! Oh, Alber.)

Let's start with his designs for Lancome's signature mascaras, shall we?

They include (from L-R): Hypnôse Drama, a separating and volumizing formula with a convex brush; Hypnôse Star, a red-carpet ready mascara that creates ultra-defined lashes; Hypnôse Doll Lashes, a "doll lash" mascara that makes eyes appear wider and brighter; and Définicils, Lancome's best-selling mascara features a lash-coating polymer formula and a grooved bristle brush for maximum precision. You can swipe them for $29 a piece.

Okay, now on to the eye palettes!

The Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palettes ($51) feature a mix of soft shadows for day and smoldering, smoky shades for night, plus an intense contrast shade that doubles as liner or shadow.

There's the pink-and-black spotted Color Design Drama Palette in Taupe Craze:

The star-adorned Color Design Star Palette in Midnight Rush:

The heart-worthy Color Design Doll Palette in Rose Coquette:

And the quirky eye-print Color Design Définicils Palette in Mint Jolie:

None of the above are actually new products — just fancied up in prettier packaging.

Finally, he finished off the collection with a pair of False Lashes ($35). They come enclosed in a whimsically-illustrated collector's case, too.
