Olivia Wilde is one of our favorite leadings ladies in Hollywood right now—and not just because she's gorgeous and has the ultimate cool-girl LA style, but she's also smart, hilarious, and down-to-earth. In the July issue of Tatler, Wilde dishes on weird personal facts from her past, and reveals some of her favorite products—like lipstick, hair stuff, and, uh, coffee. Here are our favorite bits from the story.
On her first acting role: "When I was six, I played Eeyore's bottom in a school play. It was the beginning of my career."
On her favorite beverage: "Strong black cofee, ideally espresso. There are amazing brewers in New York, like Blue Bottle Coffee at Tribeca on Franklin Street."
Her teenage beauty favorite: "When I was 14, I thought the Body Shop's White Musk was the best thing EVER. Nowadays I'm more into mixing natural oils. Patchouli has a bad rep but adding cedar oil makes it smell amazing."
Which beauty product she can't live without: "Lipstick. Revlon does a fabulous red called Couture that doesn't budge—so I'm not constantly worrying , 'Is it on my teeth? Is it on my chin?'"
Her favorite hair products: "Loads of Bumble and Bumble—they've got a great product called Brilliantine, which helps to separate hair when it's fluffy. I also go through their conditioner 10 times faster than shampoo."
Her must-have beauty treatment: "A facial with Kate Somerville at her clinic in Los Angeles—she's all about keeping your skin clean and moisturized and not overburdening it with loads of scrubs and masks and other stuff."
