8. Make A To-Do List For The Year
Before the month of January is over, make a to-do list for the year and when you want to accomplish those things. For example, what month do you think is a good month to ask for that promotion? Is June or July better to use those vacation days you haven't used yet (it's time to use them!)? When will you go to the bank and set up a retirement account? What month will you look for a new job if you don't get that promotion? If you have it all listed out on a timeline, you'll be more likely to stick to it.
