Not everyone can be royalty, but it turns out, you can still get pretty close. You have to earn it though, of course.

Twice a year, the British royal family announces a list of people who will receive honors for their merit, service, or bravery, and will therefore have a royal title added to their name. These individuals range from soldiers, to actors, to athletes, and surprisingly (or, not surprisingly), many of these distinguished people are celebrities.

Here are the honors listed in descending order of precedence: Commander of Honor (CH), Knight Commander or Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE or DBE), Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE), Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE), Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE).

Due to some having "Sir" or "Dame" added to their names, there are certain celebrities you may already know have royal titles — such as Sir Elton John, and Dame Judi Dench. But there are also a ton of other celebs that I bet you'll be surprised to learn about.

Here are all the celebrities you didn't know have royal titles.
