(Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images North America) As if being one of the stars of Girls wasn't enough for 25-year-old Zosia Mamet, she can now add columnist to her resume. Mamet revealed details about her new gig as a monthly columnist for Glamour magazine on Chelsea Lately last night.
But if you're wondering whether Mamet's monthly piece will be strictly about the dating world—something her Girls' character Shoshanna is only slightly familiar with—think again. This column has a much wider scope.
"They basically told me I could write about anything I wanted, which I thought was sort of dangerous," she said.
And it sounds like Mamet took her new job very seriously. She apparently sends her editor emails "all the f---king time." (Hey Zosia, you can email us any time you want, FYI.) One of the first story ideas she sent her editor? Eyebrows.
"She'll get e-mails from me at like 4:00 in the morning and I'll be like, 'I wanna write about the evolution of eyebrows.' That was an idea I had. I was on the subway one day, and there were all these women sitting in front of me who had all of these varying shapes of eyebrows. One of them, she'd shaved them off and they were blue and pointy. And I was like, 'What does this say about females?'"
You can write about eyebrows or eyeballs for all we care, Zosia. We'd read it. Check out her first column in the February issue of Glamour.
