Confession time: I'm addicted—addicted—to the ABC Family drama Switched at Birth, which is all about, you guessed it, two teens who discover that they were switched at the hospital when they were babies. This season, there's a new girl in town—Zoey Deutch, who plays Eliza Sawyer, the on-again-off-again paramour of Toby Kennish (Lucas Grabeel) and daughter of Patricia Sawyer (Danielle Rayne), who's John Kennish's (D.W. Moffitt) political arch-nemesis.
In the two episodes Deutch has been on the scene, she's already seduced Toby into her parents' hot tub, gone topless (and gotten caught by her mom!), volunteered for John Kennish's political campaign (he's running against her mom), and stolen the all-around bad/cool-girl crown from Bay Kennish (Vanessa Marano).
In real life? Deutch's mom is Lea Thompson, who plays Kathryn Kennish on Switched at Birth. Deutch previously starred on the CW show Ringer and the Disney Channel series The Suite Life on Deck. She's also taking a star turn right now as Emily Asher in the hit movie Beautiful Creatures and is slated to play the lead vampire, Rosemarie Hathaway, in the upcoming movie Vampire Academy.
We're huge fans of Deutch's pretty-but-unfussy LA style—as well as her natural beauty look (seriously, her full eyebrows are to die for!). Check out some of our favorite photos of Deutch right here—and be on the lookout for this star on the rise.
