AnnaLynne McCord: Taking a stand against Hollywood's "perfection requirement." (via Twitter)AnnaLynne McCord is best known for playing a trust funder with questionable decision-making skills on 90210, but in real life, she's an admirable gal on many levels. When she's not frolicking on the beach with her curly-haired sisters or cuddling up to beau Dominic Purcell, AnnaLynne tirelessly promotes the Somaly Mam Foundation, an anti-human trafflcking charity. Oh, and she occasionally posts topless photos by accident. Win some, lose some.
On Friday, McCord chose to take a stand against the unrealistic images of beauty that dominate the entertainment industry. The actress posted a makeup-free photo of herself with the caption, "I woke up this morning and decided I'm over Hollywood's perfection requirement. To all my girls(and boys) who have ever been embarrassed by their skin! I salute you! I'm not perfect - and that's okay with me!"
McCord is not the first celebrity to post a makeup-free snap for the sake of her fans:
Lady Gaga (via Twitter)The chances of spotting Lady Gaga on the streets sans wackadoodle sunglasses and terrifying platform pumps are nil, but she did share an intimate photo of her makeup-free face with fans in March.
Jennifer Love Hewitt (via Twitter)In April, The Client List's Jennifer Love Hewitt tweeted a snap of herself with the words, "The no make up look... Glam look to follow."
Demi Lovato (via Twitter)Demi Lovato sported some awfully pink lips in her no makeup shot, posted just before bedtime.
Rihanna (via Twitter)Rihanna's not shy with her fans, peppering her Twitter feed with photos of herself nearly nude, working her fitness in a bikini, and yes, without makeup.
