It's been 50 years since Marilyn Monroe's tragic death, and Museo Salvatore Ferragamo—Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo's museum in Florence—is hosting an exhibit celebrating her life and her influence on the fashion industry.

"Marilyn" features never-before-seen pictures, magazine covers, and handwritten notes, as well as dozens of accessories and clothing from her iconic wardrobe. Many of those accessories, shoes specifically, are Ferragamo—after all, Monroe was a loyal customer who made his four-inch-heel pumps famous.

Here are two of the shoes featured in the exhibit:

For those who plan to be in and around to Florence, the exhibit will run through January 28, 2013.
