Brody Jenner is afflicted.
Chances are you fall in one of two camps: Either you have no clue what Affliction shirts are, or you're amazed to find out they're still being worn.

For those of you who fall into the first camp,  we envy your blissful ignorance. And, to clarify, Affliction T-shirts are Ed Hardy's bedazzled, gaudier cousins. Yes, gaudier.

For those of you in the second camp, we understand your confusion. No, this is not a a rerun of The Jersey Shore, and no this is not 2007. So why is it that while most good things have to come to an end (like Friends and Ho Hos), these hideous shirts continue to be a thing?

Maybe it's the brand's UFC tie-in? Because let's be honest. There's nothing that says "I'm a strong and masculine fighting machine" like a generous smattering of rhinestones, Baroque and Rococo-inspired curlicue motifs and a skintight fit. (Oh, wait...)

To find out where other ladies stand on the topic, we informally polled a few friends. These exemplify the response we got:
Why Do Men Still Wear _____ Shirts? Notice any similarities? Other notable responses included the phrases "overly masculine meets overly feminine," "Ick," and "too tan guys who like picking fights." (Clearly, that Affliction-wearing beefcake at the bar on Friday night is Mr. Dreamy.)
