What your biggest piece of advice for people trying to eat healthier, and lead a healthier life overall?
"Keep it simple. Always choose organic when you can. Eat food as close to their natural state as possible. Stay away from processed boxed snacks, cookies, crackers that contain white flour, sugar, and preservatives as they tend to promote inflammation in the body, the precursor to most chronic disease. Try and have your plate consist of mostly plant-based items (veggies/salads) and smaller amounts of whole grain, organic pasture-raised proteins if you eat meat, and healthy fats staying away from canola, soy, and vegetable oils."
