(Photos by Lindsay Schallon/StyleBistro) Lately, I can't get enough of white nail polish, like Avon's Longwear Pro+ in French Tip White.

If for you, summer = sweat, then hoo boy, do I have a slew of beauty suggestions for you. Because, yeah, I (unfortunately) know that territory pretty well. Don't worry, if you're one of those lucky sweat-less, frizz-less, acne-less—did I mention lucky—mythical creatures, er, people, I've tested plenty of weather-proof products you'll obsess over, too!

Here are my essentials for surviving the sweltering months of summer. Let's start with skin and haircare, shall we?

As far as hair is concerned, I have three main go-tos to get me through to September: a frizz fighter that does more (Moroccanoil's Hydrating Styling Cream makes my hair super-smooth and non-greasy), a phenomenal dry shampoo (trust, I've tested many and few have ever left my hair as clean and soft as Drybar's Detox Dry Shampoo), and a never-fail surf spray. Bumble & Bumble's beach-hair-in-bottle is a great solution if you're (read: me) too lazy to blowdry in the morning. Spritz on damp hair, scrunch, and you're done!

Now, my skin? That's a whole nother story. See in the winter I have a process—masks, daily moisturizers, moisturizer boosters, eye cream, night cream, the works. But in the summer, I like to keep it simple because, well, I sweat. A lot. (Lovely, right?) I've found that Lifeline Stem Cell Skin Care's moisturizing serums go on light-as-air, don't clog my pores, come with SPF, and make my skin look younger and brighter.

I know I'm only in my mid-20s, but it's never too early for an anti-aging regimen, IMO. Okay, now on to my face stuff!

You know how I said my winter skincare regimen was complicated? That also translates to my face products—and vice versa in the summer.

Once the weather starts warming up I swap out my Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation in favor of lighter, glowier coverage, like Laura Mercier's Foundation Primer and oil-free SPF-packed Tinted Moisturizer. I found that by combining the two, the combo completely evens out my splotchy pink skin while depositing juuust the right dose of sun-kissed radiance. To add to the effect, I finish up with NARS' (brand-new!) Blush/Bronzer Duo featuring its best-selling shades Orgasm (a peachy-pink blush) and Laguna (a light brown shimmer).

Here's a new trend I never thought I'd pull off, but I'm hands-down in love with this summer—bright blue and teal eyeliner. I'll go ahead and thank Hollywood for this obsession. All the waterproof shades above (Deep End, Chaos, LSD, and Abyss) are from Urban Decay.

And now, for the stuff I always keep in my purse during the summer.

- A brightly colored headband that doubles as bracelet (and can be looped into a hair tie, if needed!)
- Blotting papers
- Waterproof mascara (Maybelline's Volum'Express The Rocket is my current drugstore fave.)
- Bright lipstick

Check out the swatches, below, of the two shades I'm craving right now: Givenchy's Le Rouge in Mandarine Bolero, a muted red orange, and Maybelline's Color Sensational Vivids Lipcolor in Fuchsia Flash, an electric magenta.

And finally, the weird product I swear by in the summer...

Johnson's Baby Powder. Why do swear by it? Well, what I'm about to say probably tip-toes into TMI territory, but this super-embarrassing, extremely uncomfortable issue happens to at least 2/3 of my friends, so I'm going to go there. You know at the beginning of summer, when you first start wearing sundresses and skirts again, how after 10 minutes of walking around outside your legs start to sweat and, uh, rub together?

Please don't make me say the "technical" term for it... the name of it gives me the heebies-jeebies. Ugh, I have to? Okay, fine. I'm talking about chafing. (Seriously, ew, right?)

Anywho, if you're not armed with an arsenal of Spanx and have even the slightest amount of curves, thigh rub is bound to happen to you at some point—and when it does, baby powder is everything. Just the slightest pinch of it stops the sweat, the sting, and the, ahem, need to waddle (you know what I'm talking about); plus, it's great to have on hand for other beauty blunders, like say, if you happen to run out of dry shampoo. (It soaks grease right up! Albeit, it's harder to blend in.)

Welp, that's it! Tell me, how do you switch up your routine for summer? Any amazing tricks/products you'd recommend? Also, don't forget to check out all of the StyleBistro editors' favorite summer products, here.
