Based on the belief that heating food destroys its natural enzymes and nutrients, this diet focuses on raw food. Food can be slightly heated though, just not warmer than 118 degrees. 

What you can eat: basically any raw food (fruit, vegetables, dairy, some animal proteins) 

What you can't eat: anything heated higher than 118 degrees
