Another low-carb diet, the ketogenic diet's goal is to help you achieve ketosis. Simply put, ketosis is when your body uses its own fat for energy, rather than glucose (which you get from carbs). 

What you can eat: animal proteins (meat, fish, eggs), vegetables, nuts and seeds, healthy fats

What you can't eat: grains, sugar, fruit, tuber vegetables (potatoes, yams, etc)
