Color-blocking and bold primaries may have ruled supreme last season, but fashion is taking a much welcomed turn toward vivid citrus hues for spring and summer. There's no better way to get a jump-start on the coming trend (and warm up your winter wardrobe) than with a touch of tangy color.

Designers as classically elegant as Vera Wang and Oscar de la Renta looked to these tart brights to make their Spring 2012 collections pop, inspiring stars as chic as Charlize Theron to give the trend a try. Heck, Beyonce practically owns orange after she announced her pregnancy in this unforgettable Lanvin gown. Fall in love with the kiwis, limes, tangerines, and lemons from the red carpet to the runway and add a little tropical flavor to your look.
