Sarah Burton's designs have seen the inside of Buckingham Palace many times (Kate Middleton is a huge fan!), but the Alexander McQueen creative director had her own royal moment yesterday, when Prince Charles handed her the OBE, or The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire honor, for services to the fashion industry.

The royal family must have been really happy with Kate Middleton's McQueen wedding gown. Speaking at an event after the OBE ceremony, Burton said of the bridal look "It came completely out of the blue, it was vey exciting, and I felt very privileged."

And, when asked if she was going to design any maternity wear for the Duchess of Cambridge, Burton—who is pregnant with twins!—said, "I hope so!" We hope so, too! Move the waist on this haute beekeeper gown up juuust a bit, and it could accomodate a bump quite nicely, don't you think?
