Things That Make Sense: Sofia Vergara Is Putting Her Name on Some Shapewear

The inevitable happened today. Sofia Vergara — she of the wardrobe malfunction selfies and tweets like "nothing fits meeee!!!!" — is adding shapewear to her Kmart collection, WWD reports.

The nine-piece line, which hits 800 Kmart stores this June, includes "toning bodysuits, camis, tanks, bustiers, waist-shaping briefs and boyshorts, thigh slimmers, and half and full-slips," priced from $14.99 to $23.99. Pieces are specifically designed to fit curvaceous types — sizes  run from M to 2X and designs with built-in bras come in 36C to 38DD and 40D.

Like most celebrities-slash-designers, Vergara isn't really sketching — much less sewing prototypes of — these garments. But she at least signs off on them. "I'm not really a designer but my lines are based on what I like and what I wear," the Modern Family star told WWD. "We have a lot of meetings and all of the product gets tried on by me."
