In celebration of the first-ever staging of Rodgers and Hammerstein's production of Cinderella on Broadway, shoe designer Stuart Weitzman has created a one-of-a-kind "glass slipper"—which will make its on-stage musical debut on March 3rd in New York City!
Check it out, below:
Weitzman, who's been named the official designer of the Rodgers and Hammerstein Cinderella glass slipper, has also released a capsule collection for consumers—called "Clearly Timeless" and featuring three transparent styles of footwear, top.
"What's every girl's first memory of shoes? Cinderella's glass slipper," Weitzman said. "Something as simple and accessible as a beautiful shoe can make a woman feel like a princess. Who wouldn't want to be Cinderella for a night? When asked to recreate the iconic slipper for the new Broadway production, I jumped at the chance."
