Our 4 Favorite Things About the New Men's Magazine, M - Also, Bradley Cooper Peeing

Just launched this week: M, the magazine for men Fairchild recently revived 20 years after its closure in 1992 following a nine-year print run.

We got our hands on a copy of the autumn 2012 edition—a matte-finish 100-page thinking-man's take on fashion and lifestyle that, with think pieces on Band of Outsiders' Scott Sternberg, the editorial team at The New Republic, and UTA's CEO Jeremy Zimmer, speaks more to industry insiders or those who have deeper, more intimate knowledge of fashion and media than to a mainstream audience.

Check out four of our favorite bits and bobs from inside the 2012 debut issue of M, and tell us what your first impressions are, in the comments section below.

1. The Handsomest Man in America (above): A profile on ubiquitous super-successful male model Sean O'Pry—"I"ve never been so blatantly honest in an interview," he tells Philip Weiss—wherein we learn pretty much everything we ever wanted (or ever really needed) to know about one of the industry's top faces.

"I believe I have the worst runway walk you ever see," he said. "There's just no reason 500 people should be staring at you walking... As soon as I get on the runway, it looks like someone shoved a stake so far up my ass, to the back of my head, and my head goes straight up, and I walk like a snake."

2. The Karl Lagerfeld Interview (below): All Karl Lagerfeld interviews are good, but this one is knock-em-outta-the-park awesome. Here are some of our favorite lines:

"My mother, I was something like eight, said to me, 'You shouldn't wear hats. You look like an old dyke."

"I think tattoos are horrible. It's like living in a Pucci dress full-time."

"What I hate most is flip-flops. I am physically allergic to flip-flops."

"I also love gloves, if you may have noticed. You know why I wear cut ones? Beacuse in the old protocol, it is impolite to say hello to somebody who is wearing gloves. And, you know, I cannot sketch if I have leather here. It also makes the arm longer. And you know what it means in French to have a long arm? It means you are influential."

And, our favorite quote, in answer to the question: "So what drives you, if it's not ambition?" Karl says: "The lack of satisfaction; that I think that I can still do better. That I'm lazy, that I could improve, that I should kick myself in the ass and things like this."

3. The Bloggerati Elite: Four internet guys who rock our world—from left, David Wilfert of The World's Best Ever; John Tinseth of The Trad; Marcus Troy; and Michael Williams of A Continuous Lean.

4. Bradley Cooper Peeing: On page 69.
