The French Knotted Bun You Can DIY at Home

DIY French(Source: Latest-Hairstyles)We've fallen in love with the knotted fauxhawk look since we first saw it, and we've been looking for a simple way to re-create it for a while now. Thanks to How-To Hair Girl and Latest-Hairstyles, we found a solution. This French Knotted Bun only looks complicated. Get the simple how to, below.

Step 1: Flip the head over and take two small sections of hair from the nape at the bottom hairline. Twist slightly and tie together once.

Step 2: Add a bit of hair to both sides like you would a braid, but instead of braiding them, tie them together in a knot

Step 3: Repeat by adding more hair to both sides and knotting.

Step 4: Do this again, working your way towards the top of the head.

Step 5: Gather all the remaining hair and twist together. Wind it into a bun on top of the head.
