Thanksgiving is tomorrow! Can you believe it? By now you (hopefully!) know your plans and have (maybe) whittled down your outfit options—if you haven't, Rihanna has some helpful tips for helping you hide a food baby. But have you given any thought to your hair?

Just like what you wear, your hairstyles speaks, um, volumes about your personality. And let's be real, why go through all the trouble to look ah-mazing in those family photos, just to have it all ruined by a bad hair day.

Well ladies, fret not. Here are five gorgeous (and DIY-able!) celebrity-inspired hair ideas you can borrow for this long weekend! Whether you're just kicking it at a Friendsgiving or meeting your dude's really ridiculously conservative grandmother for the first time, we've got all your bases covered.

For a black-tie affair:
A curly faux bob

Dinner at a ritzy restaurant or a black-tie charity event call for an ultra-elegant look, one preferably that a) isn't too complicated but b) looks like a million dollars. That's where Kerry Washington's curly faux bob from the 2012 AMAs comes in.

No matter the length of your locks (8- or 18-inches) this chic style works for every girl. All you need is a 1-inch barrel curling iron to work your hair into ringlets, bobby pins (our fave!), a small hair elastic, and super-hold hairspray.

Once your hair is curled, tie the elastic to the very end of your strands. Roll your tied-off hair under and tuck it in toward the nape of the neck—making sure to spread and disperse hair evenly to the sides. Secure the style with as many bobby pins as necessary, and pull out a few shorter layers to give your look depth. Give it a spritz of hairspray and you're done!

For a day with your guy's super-conservative parents: A low twisted bun

The difference between looking put-together and looking high-maintenance is a tricky fine line, but this classic low bun strikes that perfect balance of refined and approachable. It's like the Goldilocks of hairdos—not too sleazy, not too stuffy, just right.

To give your hair lots of shine like Hayden Panettiere, use a small dime-sized dollop of Salon by Sally Hershberger Keratin Fix smoothing serum ($32 at HSN). Your strands will have a gorgeous amount of gloss and won't feel greasy hours later—even after sweating through his grouchy grandma's interrogations.

For a Friendsgiving dinner: Messy waves

Lots of pictures—and let's be honest, probably a fair of amount of booze—will be involved when celebrating the holiday with your pals, so you'll need a photo-ready style that doesn't take lots of muss and fuss to create. (And more importantly, won't look ridiculous after those first four glasses of spiked apple cider.)

Both on and off the red carpet, Rachel Bilson is the queen of the messy-but-chic hairstyle. The key here is to using the right hot tool. A clamp-less wand like Remington's T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Curling Wand ($25 at Target.com) will give you those covetable rolled-out-of-bed waves. Let the schmoozing commence!

For a fun-filled Thanksgiving outdoors: Hat hair (but in a cute way!)

Whether you're braving the crowds for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade or watching football out in your garage bar (we've done both, thankyouverymuch) a cute winter hat works with any hairtype—fine, curly, wavy, straight, the list goes on—and shows off your personal style.

Make like Kourtney Kardashian, Taylor Swift, and Jessica Alba with one of these styles. Just don't make Alessandra Ambrosio's mistake, this look is funny but it's certainly not chic.

For a casual hangout with your fam: A voluminous ponytail

Just because your bros are kicking it in day-old sweats and your dad is rocking his "pie pants" doesn't mean you've got to embrace the, uh, family aesthetic. Throw on a cute sweater, a pair of skinnies, and dress up your tresses a la Kristen Stewart.

Starting with damp hair, scrunch a little sculpting gel through your mane. We love Garnier Fructis' Style Curl Sculpting Cream-Gel ($4.50 at Drugstore.com) for its incredible fruity scent and non-crunchy hold. Blow dry hair upside down to give your roots lots of lift. Once your locks are dry, tease bangs up and back to create a slight poof at the front. Pull everything back into a ponytail and pin any stray strands in place.

Mom will be proud.

What are you doing for Thanksgiving tomorrow? (We're going to the parade! Eep!) How will you being wearing your hair? We're dying to know! Sound off in the comments, below.
