Braid of the Day: Use This Product to Get Rashida Jones' Adorable Fishtail Braid
Last night at the Elle Women in Hollywood Celebration, Rashida Jones looked far from her plaid-clad character on Parks and Recreation. The actress ditched the Midwestern girl facade in place of a slick, city-appropriate style—made complete with a gorgeous fishtail braid, of course!
Jones wore a vibrant blue Calvin Klein shift dress, lace-up peep-toe platforms, and a bold, statement-making necklace from Dannijo:
And as for that fabulous fishtail, here's another look:
For a rugged-yet-romantic braid, like Jones' wispy style, be sure to use a texturizer before fishtailing your strands. Give Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray ($39) a try—during New York Fashion Week, Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss told us she swears by it!
A texturizer will give your hair heaps of volume, along with a matte, mussy look. Only spray the sections you're braiding, though—otherwise the rest of your locks (like your bangs) will look straggly instead of sleek.
