We just found your go-to holiday hair inspiration—and you have Maria Menounos all to thank for it. (That grin totally says, "You're Welcome," no?)

The actress flaunted this loose face-framing side bun at the Second Annual American Giving Awards on Friday night, along with rosy cheeks, clear glossy lips, and a mesh-paneled rose-print cap-sleeve dress.

From holiday shopping to festive fetes, this chic style works everywhere—and all you need is an extra 300 seconds to create it. Sound crazy? Not until you've tried the "Spin Pin."

Being the hard-hitting journalists that we are, we hounded a friend-of-a-friend at Hanukkah party this weekend about her gorgeous, low, swirly hairstyle—one that looked surprisingly similar to Menounos' hair, above. The secret tool our new hair BFF swore by? These curlicue hair pins, which cost less than $6 for a pack of two!

Once you've prepped your locks with a little styling cream, pull them back like you would with a low ponytail and wrap your tresses around. Once you've constructed the outline of a bun, slip the pins into your hair and twist—just like that, no elastic needed, your hair will hold in place.

Finish with hairspray if you prefer a more polished look or pull out some face-framing strands like Maria Menounos for more tousled tresses. And there you have—a bun in a snap!
