Vote! Do You Like Visible Bobby Pins?

(Sources: ImaxTree; Jason Merritt/Getty Images North America)We all have them. We all use them. And yet somehow we still try to keep them under wraps. Until now. Bobby pins are the guardian angels of the hair world, and yet so often when we have an updo, we try to strategically place them so as little of them is showing as possible. But things seem to be changing this spring.

Blatantly visible bobby pins at Zac Posen's Fall 2014 runway show gave models a retro, pinup girl vibe.

And a few celebs have also followed suit and showed their bobby pins (gasp) in full view. The first leading lady we spotted pins on was Kate Mara. The House of Cards star showed off her already attention-grabbing blonde lob with a cool criss-cross detailing.

We then saw Elle Fanning decorate her simple, straight 'do with two pastel bobby pins at the Miu Miu runway show.
