Hair Trend from Fashion Month: Super Soaked Strands

The Hair Trend from Fashion Month: Super Soaked Strands (Source: ImaxTree)Mega shiny hair is nothing new. In fact, slicked-back strands have been a trend in the hair world for a while now. But now that the runways of Paris, New York, Milan and London have cleared, a new version of the look has emerged, and it's even more dramatic than before.

The super-soaked slick look popped up on runways throughout Fashion Month. From stringy bangs to drenched tresses, the just-washed look stole the show. Although we're typically in favor of a good blow dry post showering, the undone look requires a little bit of product and a lot less effort.

To achieve this look, try a generous amount of gel like Kérastase Forme Fatale ($36), which Odile Gilbert used for the Zac Posen runway show, to give hair a piecey texture. Finish with a high-shine spray to give the glossy, wet look. Hairstylist Guido used Redken Shine Flash 02 Glistening Mist ($15) to create the look at Maison Martin Margiela. Want to see how other hairstylists created the look on the runways? Check out our favorite looks, below.

At Jean Paul Gaultier, models stuck to a half-wet look for a just-got-out-of-the-shower vibe.
