Best fitness advice ever received: “'Always remember what you first loved about riding.' My brother inspired me to start cross-country. I always wanted to be able to keep up with the boys and looked up to my slightly older brother, so when he actually invited me to try a mountain bike race and use his bike, it was a no brainer. I’ve found the key to go fast really is in embracing challenge and having fun doing it!"
Favorite post or pre-workout snack: “I love to refuel with a Luna Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter (12 for $15) or Luna Chocolate Dipped Coconut bar (15 for $19).”
Favorite workout gear: “When I’m not in my team cycling kilt, I love my Prana yoga pants ($63) and tank top ($30) for core, stretching and hitting the gym.”

Go-to Exercise: "Around the World" Core Routine (10 to 15 Minutes)
“In my cycling training, I follow a periodized program so I am not often repeating the same routine. Off the bike however, I love this routine because it works all the small supporting muscles that help me stay injury free, plus it has enough to it that I do not get bored repeating the same workout every day. I start by grabbing my yoga mat and a quiet space first thing in the morning before breakfast. Start with ten reps of each exercise and add when you want to increase the challenge. I usually start by lying on the floor and doing 20 reps."
