1. Quality First
We're pretty sure the phrase 'quality over quantity' was created by the French. French women are serious about their ingredients, ordering and shopping for dishes/items that are fresh and in season. They'll gladly opt for freshly churned and rich butter over a tub of margarine, regardless of how much fat it contains (more on that later). As a result of her strict criteria, she has no problem rejecting foods that don't make the cut. She'd rather go dessertless than eat an overly-processed slice of pre-packaged cake.
