1. What You Wear Matters
I'm not going to go right out and say you should pack a silk evening gown to go roam the tea plantations in Sri Lanka...but maybe you should?

Alright fine, we'll earmark that tip for the Vogue two-page spreads, but there's a huge difference between you standing on the steps of Santorini wearing a dress that makes you feel beautiful, and you standing against that blue-tiled view wearing a sweaty white tee sticking to your sports bra. See what I mean?

While you definitely should pack practically, see if you can leave the threadbare pieces at home and pick out items that will make a pop against your backdrops. Even something as simple as a red beanie (see me in Scotland!) can make a world of difference.
