First Trimester — Fatigue
Fatigue is most common in the first trimester, though it can sometimes return in the third trimester as well. During this time your blood sugar levels and blood pressure are lower, contributing to fatigue. Levels of the hormone progesterone also increase, only adding to that sleepiness factor. Molly suggests, “Rest as much as you can. Fill your body with whole foods. A healthy diet and exercise might help boost your energy.”
