Get Your Kids Involved
Many people assume their kids are too young for chores, but this isn't the case! From the earlier years, you can have kids help pick up toys after playtime and even preschoolers can do things like unload parts of the dishwasher, care for pets, and clean their rooms.

Anytime you introduce a new chore, take the time to model it for your child and watch the first couple of attempts. You can't expect them to know how to clean to an adult standard without training. Moreover, a chore chart with stickers is a great way to track participation and earn incentives.

The more you can make chores a regular part of the family routine early on, the more likely your kids will develop good habits and save you time later.
