"The conversation about We Roam came at just the right moment for both of us," Sean shared with me via e-mail, when I asked how he and co-founder Nathan Yates got started.

"We had both seen talented colleagues leave their jobs to go travel and experience the world (some of which later found employers that allowed remote work) and our employers were struggling to fill the gaps with qualified young workers. 

"We had a mutual goal of being able to travel and live abroad for extended periods of time, but we are also both very professionally ambitious and didn't want put our careers on hold. We came to the realization that we couldn't be the only ones faced with this dilemma."
