19. First Woman to Serve as a Fortune 500 CEO, 1972
Katharine Graham was the CEO of the Washington Post company, making her the first female Fortune 500 CEO. She was at the helm for over two decades, and most notably oversaw the Watergate coverage. She also received a Pulitzer Prize for her memoir in 1998.
