The fashion industry frequently plays musical chairs. As Heidi Klum says on Project Runway, "one day you're in, the next day you're out." Although Hannah MacGibbon was supposed to be staying on for another season, rumors of her departure from Chloé have been circulating. Now, it's official.
MacGibbon had spent 10 years at Chloé, three of which were spent as creative director. Starting June 1, Clare Waight Keller will be taking the reins at the French fashion house after spending six years as Pringle of Scotland's creative director. Her first collection for Chloé will be presented in September during Paris fashion week.
It'll be interesting to see the direction Keller takes the brand!
