Lexie Manion is a mental-health blogger best known for her #BoycottTheBefore campaign, which shines a light on how before-and-after-photos in eating disorder recovery cases don't capture a complete picture, and can be damaging to those who are stumbling and struggling.

"Someone’s progress in recovery cannot and should not be represented by a full-body photo that highlights that person’s weight, because in doing so, that person’s ability to 'look healthy' is being equated to that person being healthy," she shared. Followers post their own "I am so much more than a 'before' photo" experiences, and she re-posts them to her account.
