Dana Falsetti is a yoga instructor that uses her account to promote self-care, body positivity, and acceptance. During the beginning of her own yoga journey she noticed that many studios were either unwelcoming to her or didn't care to teach less able-bodied individuals, so she decided to become a yogi herself to fix that problem. She opened the space to all kinds of people, no matter their body type or ability.
Confidence, body justice, and inclusivity are just a few of the things you'll learn while following along with her, and she shows that fitness - and especially yoga - isn't just for one specific type of body shape.

One of her captions: "I lived with so much shame, unaware of how what I exposed myself to impacted me, unaware of who I was through so much noise. No ability to think critically beyond my own insecurities and worrying about the perception of others. It requires an immense amount of comfort with yourself to be open to critical thought in a way that involves our own part and can lead to our own change. It requires a quiet ego, a willingness to look at yourself first and notice your own shit. It requires finding compassion for your mistakes, past narratives, forgiving yourself, and making active changes."
