What advice do you have for other women looking to start their own business?
Test the market, and spend as little money as possible to see if there is interest in what you’re doing. It can be very expensive and it’s not easy to be an entrepreneur, and you do want to know that people are going to care about what you’re doing. You have to be comfortable pivoting and trying new things without investing everything you have into something without it being proven. I'd also say really focusing on your brand — your brand has to stand out. You have to have our own unique voice even if your product is similar to others. A brand can really differentiate you, and how you do it is what can make you known for what you’re doing.
