For the 2011 Met Ball she paid tribute to her late friend Alexander McQueen by wearing the brand's exquisite and incredibly detailed lilac feathered ballgown.

The daring heiress topped off her look with the bridle shoes from the brand's fall 2011 collection. Not at all bad for a woman who got dressed in the window at Barneys!

Fashion took over New York as the industry put on their finest for the year's biggest event—the Met Gala. This year, the event honored the late Alexander McQueen with a glam event and exquisite museum collection.
