Pricey salon trips, difficult removal treatments, iffy drying lamps—kiss all the concerns that come with gel manicures goodbye! Deborah Lippmann just released an at-home gel mani kit that promises to be a savior for shellac fans.

Unlike most gel-finish products out there, Lippmann's Gel Lab Set ($45) requires no lamps or tools, only two polishes—the "Coat Of Arms" base coat and "Shining Armor" top coat. Layered with any regular ol' polish, the duo gives nails a high-gloss finish that rivals those of professional-grade gel manis.

The best part? Not only do the lacquers make your manicure last longer and dry faster, unlike the beloved salon stuff, you can actually take off your polish with basic remover. No soaking treatments necessary! Plus, the packaging kiiind of makes us feel like we're back in chem class—but, you know, like we're actually excited to experiment this time.
