Five Neon Nail Colors You Need to Try Right Now

(Source: Deborah Lippmann, Essie, OPI, Orly, Maybelline)Summer may not have officially started (keeping our eyes on June 21), but that's not stopping us from breaking out our sun dresses, sandals, and, most importantly, bright nail colors. This season we're crushing on vibrant neons as our manicure of choice. Although there are a number of takes on the bold and bright trend, we picked out five summery shades you've just got to wear ASAP to get you in the proper summertime spirit.

A crushable pink: Deborah Lippmann's "Whip It," $18
This look-at-me cream polish from Lippmann's '80s Rewind Collection is just as bold as the song that gave it its name.

A margarita-like green: OPI's "Life Gave Me Lemons," $6.95
This lemon-lime hue is full of spunky citrus flavor that's sure to add a pop to any manicure.

This blue reminds us of an ocean in the best possible way. So clearly, we agree with its name.

This juicy orange is as rich as a delicious grapefruit and makes nails look just as succulent.

This drool-worthy purple is not quite as vibrant as the other neons, but it's still as tasty-looking on your tips. But act fast if you want to add this hue to your polish collection: it's only available for the month of May at drugstores.
