20. Turnip Rock, Lake Huron, Michigan
This "floating rock" formation, known as Turnip Rock, is located in Michigan's Lake Huron near Pointe Aux Barques. What causes its unique formation, you ask? Waves from the lake have gradually eroded its base for hundreds of years. Intrepid adventurers can make their way to the rock via kayak –– the waters surrounding it are shallow, although such a story may make them seem more intimidating!
