7. The Crooked Forest, Poland
Yes, you read that right: This crooked forest is located in Nowe Czarnowo, West Pomerania, Poland. It's said that in the '30s, a group of farmers planted the trees, intentionally damaging the base of each tree themselves, perhaps to create innovative and uniquely shaped furniture. When the WWII invasion of Poland ruined their plans, the trees astoundingly continued to grow in this oddly shaped direction.
