Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2013 Show Report - The Back of Ryan Lochte's Head + More

In every fashion journalist's life, there a few moments in time when you become pretty sure you've made it. For me, this week, it was sitting directly behind Ryan Lochte's head at the Rebecca Minkoff Spring/Summer 2012 New York Fashion Week show.
FYI: We only saw the front side of his head twice—when Lochte took a quick second to say a disinterested hello to his fellow front row seatmates Lauren Conrad and Shenae Grimes (we're betting a lot of bucks he didn't realize who they were).
In other front row news, a publicist forced people to move over so Bryan Greenberg and Jamie Chung could sit next to each other. AnnaSophia Robb became instant BFFs with Chung. And Kristin Chenoweth looked super tiny.
As for models on the runway, Hilary Rhoda was holding back laughter as she strutted her stuff. We're guessing it's because her friend Leandra Medine (aka the Man Repeller was making faces at her and cheering her on).
As for the clothes, Minkoff showed a ton of oversized envelope clutches and playful florals and shapes. Here are our top five picks:
One of the oversized envelopes with the model's mint nails. We're sensing the next big fashion editor bag for spring!
We're loving this poncho-like pullover in bright blue—it's perfect for those April showers.
Mint is still a huge color for next spring. We love how Rebecca Minkoff played with the sheer layers and proportions—it's playful and pretty.
A miniature duffle bag is a fashionable and fresh way to carry the essentials.
How can you not adore a free-flowing retro blouse with a tie-front. We envision ourselves wearing this look in an old-school convertible with some fierce oversized sunglasses.
One last look at the shoes: there was a ton of orange, snakeskin-like texture, and wide straps.
