Tracy Reese Spring 2013 Show Report: The Hottest Ticket at the Tents

There wasn't much elbow room at the Tracy Reese spring 2013 show—the tent at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week was so jam-packed, standing guests flooded all the way into the aisles. (Hm... We wonder if Michelle Obama's Democratic National Convention dress had anything to do with the attendance?)
The celebrity turnout was equally strong. But that's hardly a surprise—season after season Reese draws in heaps of stars with her elaborate patterns, bright hues, and feminine silhouettes.
With her hair in a big ballerina bun, Lauren Conrad looked extra-cute in a printed forest-green sheath. House actress Odette Annable channeled easy elegance in a tonal, leather-embellished dress.
Also front row at the show was Louise Roe in a mixed-media yellow-and-pink dress, celebrity chef Katie Lee in a short-sleeved cobalt frock, Sami Gayle in a super-sequined golden number, Shenae Grimes in a shiny brocade jacket, Holland Roden in a full printed frock, and Taylor Schilling in a bold blue ensemble.

The collection itself was a good mix of spring trends we keep spotting on the runway. Vibrant floral prints accented loose, flowy silhouettes. Highlighter hues electrified everything from motorcycle jackets to streamlined sheaths. And fabulous fringe swished before our eyes on platform heels and crossbody bags.
Take a peek at our five favorite looks from the collection below:
Everything about this ensemble exudes elegance—the semi-sheer blouse, the delicate florals, the scalloped detail on the hem of the skirt. How romantic!
Rock the Block:
Color isn't going anywhere—in fact, it's punching up some of our favorite classics like leather jackets. (Looks like Mandy Moore was onto something!)
Florals are anything but sweet when shocked with some serious neon voltage.
Of all the ladylike looks from the spring collection, we predict this airy, draped-sleeved dress to be Michelle Obama's next pick. The neckline is modest, the sleeves are chic, and the pattern is oh-so-fun—perfect tributes for the FLOTUS, no?
Also noteable, here's a close-up of that amazing fringed bag:
