8. Give Yourself The "Best Friend Speech"
Take a glimpse at your problem area, and let the usual sighs roll. Then, imagine if your best friend said the same thing about her body that you just said. Would you be just as critical? Would you agree with her and tell her she really needs to throw out the takeout menus and start doing squats, like, right now?

Chances are, no. The next time you harp on your thighs, tummy, or anything, reverse roles and try to imagine what you would say if this was your best friend's speech. Try to show yourself that same amount of kindness.
