Hannah, Marnie, Shoshanna, And Jessa, GIRLS
If anything, GIRLS explored the toxicity of female friendships, where the foursome constantly blew each other off, stole each other's boyfriends, ignored each other during their times of need, and judged each other more than supported one another. Towards the last season, Jessa was dating Hannah's ex-boyfriend (but he was the type that you didn't get over;) Hannah was struggling with whether or not she should accept a job, and none of her friends were taking her calls to discuss it; and Shosh didn't invite half the gang to her engagement party. It wasn't exactly a strong group with lasting bonds.
