What to Wear (For Halloween): Jenna Lyons Edition

We kind-of want to dress like Jenna Lyons all year-round, so it makes sense that for the first of our What To Wear Halloween installments we looked to the J.Crew creative guru herself. F
rom a sartorial standpoint, "being Jenna"  is fairly straightforward: all you really need is Clark Kent-meets-Martin Scorsese specs (the bigger the better), pointed-toe pumps, a slicked back ponytail, and a pant suit—always a pant suit. That latter element is open to interpretation. Opt for a simple black tuxedo-inspired affair, or, color-block and pattern-mix that thing like you live in latter-day Pleasantville, pairing a Harris tweed coat with eye-catching cropped trousers, a jewel-toned turtleneck sweater, and pastel court shoes.
